19 March 2022 - "An Evening with Mr Handel". Well known Handel pieces and a tribute to HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee was the backdrop to this concert. Supported by the Henham Chamber Orchestra and with our soprano soloist Bryony Burnham, the audience enjoyed "Zadok", excerpts from "Messiah" and "The King shall Rejoice. The evening had a touch of sadness as we said goodbye to our Accompanist, Emma. Click here to read the review.

11 December 2021 - "Christmas around the World". A selection of music from other countries as well as works by John Rutter, Bob Chilcott, Eriks Esenvalds and our very own James Corse whose new work "Night of Wonder" was given its world premiere. The usual audience Carols were sung but were a bit muted due to the need to wear face masks. This concert also included items by "Luminos", conducted by James Corse and we also had Imogen Key as solo violinist. Click here to read our review.

14 December 2019. "Christmas through the Ages" Selection of well known and lesser known Carols were performed. These included works by the late Peter Skellern, John Rutter and Bob Chilcot. James Corse conducted his own composition "Mark the Music", Shakespeare's words from "Merchant of Venice" put to music. Three of our members sang solos in the Chilcot - Abigail, Mads and Nick. We were also lucky to welcome young Joseph Pickard as our guest soloist. The audience were not left out however with well known Carols being sung with gusto. Click here to read the review.
22 June 2019 : "Music from Stage and Screen". A selection of well known pieces that have a link to films and television programmes from "O Fortuna" from "Carmina Burana" which will have been recognised by viewers of "The X Factor", though to "The Vicar of Dibley" theme tune of "The Lord is my Shepherd" as arranged by Howard Goodall. Special guests for this concert were the Kent Police Band who opened the concert with "Parade of the Charioteers" from the film "Ben Hur" and also entertained the audience with "The Sweeney" theme tune. Audience, choir and band joined in the finale by singing, with great gusto "Jerusalem". All soloists came from the ranks of the choir for this concert. Click here to read the review.
23 March 2019. "Hope and Light in Harmony". Accompanied by the Henham Orchestra, the concert opened with Faure "Requiem". Featuring Baritone soloist, Jim Clements and Soprano Soloist Suzy Johnson. The second half opened with the premiere of our very own James Corse's new choral and orchestral work "Southfield Mass" written for the girls of Tunbridge Wells' Girls Grammar School Choir who performed it, accompanied by the Henham Orchestra, under the baton of their Music Director, Sue Waddington. 15 December 2018. "A Family Christmas". Our Christmas concert began with Britten's "Ceremony of Carols" and this was accompanied by Ellen Smith, Harpist. Along with our usual audience Carols, we were joined by the Tunbridge Wells Girls' Grammar School choir , who sang, amongst other items a re-working of "Lully Lullay" by our very own James Corse. 17 November 2018. "Armistice Concert". We joined with Cranbrook Choral Society and the Cranbrook Sinfonia in St Dunstan's Church, Cranbrook to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. The Orchestra opened the evening with Elgar's "Serenade for Strings" and this was followed by Tippett's "Five Spirituals" sung unaccompanied.. After a very short interval, the Jenkins' "Armed Man" was performed. Our soloists were Rebekah Smith, Soprano, George Bartle, Tenor, and Will Pate, Bass. The first half was conducted by Jeffery Gray, Music Director for Cranbrook and the second half by Kevin Ashman, Music Director for Paddock Wood. This concert also welcomed Dr Hafiz Upmani, Imam of Maidstone Mosque who sang the traditional Call to Prayer which is the second movement of the "Armed Man".
23 June 2018: "Music for a Summer Evening". From Vivaldi to Vaughan Williams, Tallis to Tippett, and a three minute version of Handel's "Messiah", this concert was a mix of choir items and solo pieces from choir members Jennifer (Alto) and James (Bass). The concert also featured solo items from Kevin and Emma. And the sun shone!

17 March 2018. "An Evening with Mozart". Accompanied by the Henham Orchestra,and soloists (Rebekah Smith, Caroline Daggett, Laurence Panter and Max Loble) the programme began with "Ave Verum Corpus". 24 June 2017. "Around the world in 80 minutes". A miscellany of music from madrigals to musicals, via opera and choral works. Accompanied by Paul Jeffery, his last concert with us after 22 years as its accompanist. The programme also included three solo pieces by George Harrington on the Tuba. 25th June 2016. "A Night at the Opera". A collaboration with Matchbox Opera under the baton of Dean Waller. An evening of well known choruses from various operas with solos provided by Matchbox Opera members and our very own Angus Morton. It was unfortunate that Jong-Gyung Park was indisposed but at the eleventh hour, her husband, Anthony Zerpa-Falcon, stepped in as piano Accompanist. A very enjoyable evening.
12th March 2016 - Baroque Spectacular. The programme comprised: Vivaldi - Magnificat, Purcell - Come Ye Sons of Art, Handel - Coronation Anthems & The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba. The concert was conducted by Paul Showell. Soloists: Gillian Webster (soprano), Louise Crane (Alto), Daniel Meades (tenor), Michael White (bass). 28th June 2014 - Midsummer Miscellany 60s & 70s Music. The programme comprised: Bernstein "Chichester Psalms" with harp, percussion & organ. Jane Lister (harp), Serge Vuille (percussion), Jon Rawles (organ), Megan Pitts (soprano). Also featuring SMASH from Paddock Wood Primary School. "Bohemian Rhapsody" (arr, Brymer) with Piers Hudson (guitar) & Serge Vuille (drums). 60's & 70's music comprised "Softly as I leave you" Angus Morton (baritone solo), Lennon & McCartney medley (choir) with Serge Vuille (drums). "Where is love?" Lionel Bart (arr. Darren Bartlett) (choir). Guest spotlight, Mike Chandler (vocals/piano/guitar). Simon & Garfunkel Medley (choir) with Serge Vuille (drums).
